Compact Turbulent Flow Modules
The purified air in turbulent flow modules is fed in through restricted HEPA or ULPA filter openings, but not in a uniform laminar flow. The air instead mixes with the ambient air in multiple directions, resulting in an uneven, swirling motion. Cleanliness is achieved through “dilution”: a large volume of air is introduced into the room, which continuously reduces particle concentrations by mixing the air, rather than attempting to remove contaminants as thoroughly as in laminar flow. Incoming air is filtered through HEPA or ULPA filters before entering the room, and after passing through the intake vents, the air mixes with the ambient air in the space before being exhausted, ensuring a sufficient level of cleanliness.
Why choose Vado Turbulent Flow Modules?
-
Long lifespan
Our filters have a longer-than-average lifespan, reducing the need for frequent replacements and saving on replacement costs. -
Innovative material
We use a durable synthetic material in our panel filters that does not shed fibers that could end up in the indoor air. -
Environmentally friendly filters
We have optimized the amount of material used in our filters so that we don’t use any more raw materials than necessary. Some of our filters use up to 50% less material than comparable filters on the market. -
Designed for the Nordic conditions
Our filters are designed to withstand the damp and cold weather conditions typical of the Nordic region today, and they do not lose their effectiveness when wet.
